The simplest test needs no technical knowledge at all: open Teacher Workspace, then switch off your Wi-Fi — and carry on working. Create a class, fill the timetable, enter events, everything. Nothing is missing, because nothing is loaded and nothing is sent. Exactly three things need a connection at all, and you trigger all three yourself: the “Check for updates” button, the holiday data refresh and the newsletter sign-up.
And for anyone who wants to see it in black and white: every browser has a panel that logs each connection. Chrome and Edge: menu (three dots) → More tools → Developer tools. Firefox: menu (three lines) → More tools → Web Developer Tools. Safari on Mac: once enable Safari → Settings → Advanced → “Show features for web developers”, then Develop → Show Web Inspector. Choose the “Network” tab and carry on working: the list stays empty. (Shortcuts: F12 on Windows and Linux, ⌥ + ⌘ + I on Mac, where F12 is taken by the system.)

Worth knowing: the online version and the downloaded file store their data separately. Whatever you entered online is not automatically present in the file. To move across, export a backup in one and import it in the other.
In both cases your content stays on your device. When you open the online version, my server only sees the page request itself, as on any website. Once you have downloaded the file there is no contact with me at all — unless you trigger the update check by hand.
The Workspace runs your school year. For the pile of papers waiting on your desk there is a second tool from the same workshop — with a door between the two.

Yes. On first start you load a sample class and immediately see a filled dashboard: timetable with A/B weeks, events, tasks, classes, exams — without typing a single entry. Five minutes are enough to tell whether the handling suits you. You remove the sample data later with one click (Settings → Remove sample data), before you set up your real classes.
Everything (classes, grades, photos, handwriting …) stays in your device’s browser storage, AES-256 encrypted if you wish. There is no server receiving student data — I cannot see your data at all. The app’s only network access is the manual update check.
No. Since no student data is transmitted, there is no processing within the meaning of the GDPR — there is simply nothing that could be processed. For official use: follow the rules of your region; the built-in privacy guide helps with secure storage and backups.

Yes. The whole of Teacher Workspace is a single file. Download it and put it on your device, a USB stick or your own cloud folder — a double-click is enough and the app keeps running offline, independently of this website. You get it as a small package: the app, an empty “Sicherungen” folder for your backups and the guides for Mac and Windows — unpack it, drag it to a permanent place, done. Nothing installs itself. Your unlock code works just the same in the downloaded file, since it is checked offline anyway. After your purchase you immediately receive an activation code by email. You paste it into the app (Settings → Edition & Activation) — verification runs entirely offline via a cryptographic signature. No account, no activation servers, and it still works after you change devices.
